Which payment methods are accepted in the Online Shop?

Most major credit cards are accepted.   Subscriptions and Payments are made through Paypal.

How long does it take to set up?

After we get your order, we will set you up with your subscription.  This can take place within an hour depending on when the subscription is placed.  But within a day, for sure.  You will get an email as soon as your subscription is set up.

How secure is shopping with FarangFlix? Is my data protected?

Your data is protected.  All subscriptions is processed through Paypal, one of the top ecommerce processing companies in the world.

What exactly happens after ordering?

After a subscription is made, your 7 day free trial begins.  We will get your subscription information with your Plex account email address which will be used to add the Plex Server.  After the account is assigned, you will receive an email letting you know that you’re ready to go.  Most of the time, this is less than an hour.

Do I receive an invoice for my order?

After you subscribe, you will get an invoice in your email from us.

What do I need to watch movies?

You need to have a Plex App and a free Plex Account.  Most every Smart TV on the market has the app you can install.  You can download the app to your PC, Mac, Laptop, Desktop, Tablets, Mobile Phones, PS4s, and many other devices.

What happens after I subscribe to Farang Movies?

When you sign up, you will be asked for your Plex account address to assign you the Farang Movie Server.  You’ll be getting an email informing you of the add on.  You will also see the notification in your app.

When you subscribe, you will be given 7 days for free to try it out.  If you don’t like the service for any reason, you can cancel at anytime and not be charged at all.

Buffering

Sometimes you’ll see buffering. This happens when you are converting the original quality to a lesser quality. This transcoding is very CPU intensive and may not give good results. Most videos will stream to your device directly with no conversion. In the case it doesn’t, it’s easy enough to fix.

 

These settings are  if you are accessing Farang Movies with your web browser.  The various apps will be slightly different but it will generally have similar settings.

You would want to set your quality to “maximum” or “original.”  This will prevent conversion and transcoding.

If you are watching a movie and buffering occurs, you can set the quality directly in the settings you see on the bottom left.  Select “Original” from the menu as shown.

If for some reason, you don’t see this selection and you continue to buffer, let us know and we’ll help further.
